Set aboard the bustling S.S. American ocean liner en route from New York to London, Anything Goes follows Billy Crocker, a young Wall Street broker who has stowed away on the ship to win the heart of his true love, the beautiful heiress Hope Harcourt. The only problem? Hope is already engaged to the wealthy, eccentric British aristocrat Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. To aid him in his quest, Billy enlists the help of a delightfully chaotic crew: the brassy nightclub singer-turned-evangelist Reno Sweeney, and Public Enemy Number 13, Moonface Martin, who is disguised as a priest.
